In the recent weeks, Vanessa has been displaying quite a bit of possessiveness of the people around her. Like, for example, when she’s holding Mummy’s hands, Papa cannot hold Mummy’s hands. Can’t even touch! Otherwise Vanessa will try to pry apart the hands finger by finger. On the few occasions she wants to hold Papa’s hands, then Mummy cannot hold or touch Papa’s hands. Sometimes, we try to trick her: When she doesn’t want to hold Papa’s hands, Papa will hold Mummy’s hands first, which Vanessa will object, then she might decide to let Papa hold her hand instead.
A few days ago, her possessiveness became even more hilarious. Papa was carrying Vanessa. Mummy wanted to hold Papa’s hand (or as it shoulder…). Vanessa exclaimed “NO!” and quickly put her both hands around Papa’s shoulders and hugged tightly. Later, Mummy tried to disturb Vanessa by saying “Vanessa, Mummy kiss Papa ok?” Guess what Vanessa did?
She protested, and quickly grabbed Papa’s head with both hands, pulled to her face rather forcefully, and planted a kiss on Papa’s cheek! Then another kiss. Then the other cheek also. Then after a while, she just decided to save time and just leave her lips on Papa’s cheek! Haha, it was so funny.
