I’m impressed. I’m so popular, in just one workday, I achieved a record breaking 50 new missed calls. Yes, people keep calling and calling me, no answer on the office phone, redirects out to my handphone, which has no signal because I spent much of the day somewhere with no phone coverage. Then they’ll try again.
Fortunately I’m with SingTel Mobile now. Previously while on MobileOne, all the calls would then be redirected to voicemail, which they charge as an outgoing mobile call. Just about everyone who hears the voicemail system simply hangs up. That used to cost me 20 cents each time.
Yes, it was a busy day. Too bad the mobile phone coverage is not perfect. There are a bunch of places I frequent where the mobile phone coverage is weak. One of my workplace location has no coverage from any of the telcos. StarHub coverage at my home was almost non-existent at one time, though it has since improved. Sometimes it seems like the telcos are dragging their feet. Particularly when none of them equally have no coverage, none of them are motivated to resolve the problem.
