Valentino Chocolate Cake

190520092937This is the Valentino chocolate cake we bought recently from their stall at Takashimaya basement 2. They had a number of interesting looking cakes which, although simple looking, were also quite elegant looking at the same time. It was quite delicious, and surprisingly quite long lasting too. We only actually got around to eating it like many days after buying it, and even then, the cake still tasted quite good.

Valentino is actually the name of an Italian restaurant we’ve never heard of before. It’s the Ristorante Da Valentino, located at Jalan Bingka, a road we’ve not heard of either. According to the street directory (or rather, it’s Google Maps that I use nowadays), it is off Riffle Range Road. The cakes are actually from their associated pastry shop, Pasticceria Da Valentino, which is co-owned by Valentino (the owner and executive chef of Ristorante Da Valentino) and his Sister, Perla.
