Baby #2 is Here

200620093158“Hello, world!” Baby #2 has been born today, two years, 2 months and 17 days after Vanessa. He seems to have a dark complexion just like Vanessa. He cried a fair bit more than Vanessa though. Not sure about his crying pattern after he returns from the nursery. Yes, it’s already 2 hours past the delivery, baby #2 hasn’t come out of the nursery yet.

The H1N1 operating procedures are making getting in and out of hospitals rather inconvenient. They seem quite strict about enforcing it too, although there are some backdoors that they aren’t watching properly. (I suppose this is not a prison, can’t expect too much.)

The reduced visiting may actually be a good thing. Everyone gets more rest. The 2-visitor-limit here seems a little tight. Perhaps relaxing it slightly could be a good compromise for maternity cases.

We still haven’t come close to deciding on a name for #2. Hence, he’s being referred to as Baby #2 for now. It seems like with Vanessa running around now, we have much more thing to take care of, thus neglecting some preparation for Baby #2. I hope he doesn’t mind.
