When you register a Samsung product warranty, you get a nice 15% discount voucher to be used on purchases at Samsung’s flagship store at VivoCity. Sounds good huh. I bought a 40″ LCD TV, which comes with a free 26″ LCD TV, and when I register the warranty online, I get yet more discounts. Yup. The problem with the discount voucher is the terms and conditions attached to it.
The discount voucher is not applicable for the purchase of LCD TV, Plasma TV, LCD monitor, printer, accessories and consumables.
Hmm, my first reaction was that: What else does Samsung sell?
LED TVs are basically still LCD TVs, so I believe LED TVs are excluded. I actually had to start thinking. I guess there are other things Samsung sell: cameras, phones. Oh notebooks too. Do they sell these stuffs in their flagship store?
I wonder why all their TVs are excluded.
