On the fourth day of CNY, baby, wifey and me went to Guthrie House at Sixth Avenue. We originally wanted to get coffee at Coffee Bean, but their indoor seating was full. So we ended up next door at Gelateria which sells gelato ice cream. We’ve been there before actually. The ice cream is quite nice. I just happened to notice this time an odd bit about their receipt. Apparently the prices we paid included $0.48 of GST, but at the bottom of the receipt they proclaim “No GST & Service Charge.” Hmm, should I get back my 48 cents?
