So hot that on the day it as reincarnated, it ran into trouble again. If you’ve not yet heard, Hashbro, the company behind the popular Monopoly board game, has teamed up with Google to bring Monopoly City Streets online using the entire world through Google Maps as your virtual board.

Web-based Counter Strike Like Game

Zit SengIt isn’t Counter Strike itself. But it is a pretty good first-person-shooter (FPS) type game. Sure there are many other FPS games around. But this one is a web-based game! Just this alone makes it so impressive that you’ve got to check it out. Yes, no kidding, this FPS plays right out of your web browser. I was so amazed.

Warcraft 3

200802081187.jpgIt’s funny how sometimes you chance upon a game and remain attached to it even while the rest of the world has mostly moved on to newer stuffs. For example, I’m still playing Warcraft 3. It’s actually Warcraft 2 that I like to play, but sadly Warcraft 2 is long gone, I can’t find the CDROM and even if I could, I don’t think it will run on Windows XP anyway. I like Warcraft 2 because the game is so simple that it’s almost like playing a game of chess. I’ve just realized this Warcraft 3 CDROM is supposed to run on the Mac too! Hopefully my oldish Powerbook G4 is “up to spec”.
