The Bistro, as the restaurant is called, was surprisingly full on a weekday evening. Particularly odd since everyone’s supposed to be tightening their belt. We were asked to sit in the Bar. I thought it was a little odd to have dinner in the Bar. It turns out the Bar has nowadays become like an overflow area for the Bistro, and there are proper dining tables and chairs in there. But then again, the proper dining tables and chairs were already fully occupied too. So we ended up in a not-so-comfortable table and chair to have our diner.
We eat at NUS Guild House from time to time, so we’re quite used with what to expect in terms of quality and service, both of which are generally quite good. Considering the price, it’s particularly good value for money. Pity Vanessa wasn’t very interested on this night.
