Something’s Up At The Apple Store

Tuesday, April 7th, 2009

photo-26Something’s brewing at the Apple Store. A new product update. The online Apple Stores are all “unavailable” at the moment. Tt’s the sign that they’re preparing to introduce a new product or update an existing product. What product will it be? The only thing I’ve heard so far is the 2TB Time Capsule.

Apple’s Big Sale Is On Today

Wednesday, January 14th, 2009

200807183568Apple’s Red Wednesday Sale is on today. This is our equivalent of the Black Friday sales that they have in the US and other countries. This is a one day sale event at theĀ Apple Online Store, and unlike in the US, it does not extend to Apple resellers. Apple’s Red Wednesday Sale

Tuesday, January 13th, 2009

200807183568Just like they have the Black Friday sales in the US and other countries, we will get our Red Wednesday sale. Discounts are usually quite attractive. I understand from a colleague that even the educational prices are further discounted in the sale. So I’m sure there are going to be quite good bargains.

Today, I ordered my second ever Apple product, the MacBook again. Unfortunately, it wasn’t because I was so impressed with the first that I had to order another, but that there was a defect with the first one and, oddly enough, the fastest way to get it fixed was to buy another. Sadly, my otherwise pleasant experience with Apple has been marred by this hardware defect.

Under Promise, Over Deliver

Tuesday, April 29th, 2008

You’ve probably heard this many times: Under promise, over deliver. This is one of the mantras sold to companies to improve customer satisfaction. This is the service strategy to wow your customers. But I’ll tell you, it doesn’t always work, and sometimes it does get annoying. Why not just deliver as promised? This would be good enough for me.
