Nokia Music Store Opens in Singapore
Just received an email from Nokia. Their Nokia Music Store is now open in Singapore. It is an online store, by the way, and if you’re wondering why if it is online does it matter where the store is opened? Good question. But Nokia isn’t the only company doing their online business this way. It’s a pity that you’d need Microsoft Internet Explorer to experience the Nokia Music Store. I’m just curious how well this will take off here. It looks like each track will cost S$2. Seems “ok-ish”? (Notice the price in the UK store is about 0.80 pounds.)

there are many reasons why you have to launch the stores like this, the main one being publisher deals in each country and for accounting purposes.
the nokia stores will have comes with music too which is where the real interest should be.
