Nokia Messenging always seem to use HSDPA/GPRS data connection only, how to get it to use WLAN?
On my phone, Nokia Messaging was setup by default to use my 3G data access point. I don’t mind it that much anyway because I currently have a generous data quota. But it would still be nice if Nokia Messaging could select an appropriate access point depending on its availability. Well, it can.
- Start Nokia Messaging application.
- Go to: Options -> Tools -> Settings -> General -> Service Info -> Access Point.
- Choose “Default”.
This will tell Nokia Messaging to use the current access point, or choose from the access points from the default Destinations, if there is no active access point.
