10-Year Series for PSC Interviews

25072009401I thought it was interesting to find in the newspapers today two half-pages of articles on the topic of PSC scholarship interviews, and advise for future interviewees on what they should and should not do. It seems like PSC scholarship interviews have become more serious matter than job interviews. Are they going to start publishing 10-year series of PSC scholarship interview questions someday? Along with recommended model answers?

Singapore education system is hyper competitive. Sometimes its good. But sometimes the stress takes its toll on not just the students, but also on the parents and teachers.

If you can be short-listed for a PSC scholarship interview, you are probably already in that top percentile of your entire cohort. Yet for these elite students, they are still concerned about interview preparations. It’s a never-ending race.

I don’t interview scholarship applicants. But I’ve a good idea what questions should be asked. Perhaps one day I will write up a list of interview questions that all scholarship applicants should mug for.
