Under Promise, Over Deliver

You’ve probably heard this many times: Under promise, over deliver. This is one of the mantras sold to companies to improve customer satisfaction. This is the service strategy to wow your customers. But I’ll tell you, it doesn’t always work, and sometimes it does get annoying. Why not just deliver as promised? This would be good enough for me.

Accident With A Bus – Update

I’m quite lucky. There was video footage of the accident! The video clearly showed both the bus and my car, and that the bus reversed into my car. Shaming Idiotic Drivers

I wonder what has happened with Parking Idiots blog? Some drivers just need to be shamed publicly. Perhaps the recent festive season and holidaying has enabled me to travel around Singapore more frequently, so with more driving and more parking I get more opportunities to run into idiotic drivers. What some drivers do are just incomprehensible. Sometimes it…

Cars With Adjustable Engine Volume

Just came across this funny sign yesterday at a nearby neighbourhood makan place. Yes, cars have adjustable engine volumes. It’s not the size (c.c.) of the engine, but the loudness of the engine noises. Just like your radio or TV has a volume control, car engines too have a control to adjust the engine loudness. I guess that would be the car’s gas pedal of course. Step on it, the engine makes more noise. Although, I tend to think that…
