Just a simple MacDonald’s vanilla ice cream cone will make her really happy. There’s the more expensive Island Creamery next door, but Vanessa’s not really interested. Given the choice, she chose to go to MacDonald. Then in MacDonald, there are a variety of other ice cream choices like the sundaes or McFlurry. But all Vanessa wants is the simple 70 cent vanilla ice cream cone. Save the parents a lot of money huh.
It reminds me of the time when we go out for dinner or other meals, while the parents are feasting away, all Vanessa needed was ice, and maybe plain rice. But mainly, just ice. The restaurant staff might be thinking, poor Vanessa, papa and mummy never order anything for her to eat.
Of course, nowadays she wants a lot more than just ice and plain rice. She’s gotten a few more favourite foods, but overall, still quite simple.
Baby Ian hasn’t quite started on real solid foods yet. I wonder how he would be like, and if Vanessa would feel the competition when Ian starts to eat real solids and play with her toys. Right now, Vanessa can reason and talk enough to tell me that her little brother has no teeth, so he cannot eat the things that I am offering her. Ah, what if the baby Ian has teeth and wants to eat?
er … have you seen him making noise when I sit next ti him eating a snack? It’s time that we are armed with a handy rusk biscuits when we go out with him 😛
