Dinosaurs are in town. It’s not just Jurassic World, or the Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum at NUS. There’s a bunch of them at United Square Shopping Mall. In fact, there’s also two of them at Plaza Singapura, but I’m just going to talk about the Dinosaur Adventures feature event at United Square in this post.
The Dinosaur Adventures at United Square comprises a guided tour through the “dinosaur trail”, a kids activity, and photo-taking at the Dino Egg exhibit. The adventure session takes about 30 minutes, and is limited to 15 children at a time.
The trail, which is not long since it’s just in the basement atrium at United Square, is flanked on both sides by quite a number of dinosaur exhibits. Some of them move, and make loud noises too. You can also get up quite close with and personal with these awesome prehistoric creatures.
I’m not sure what kids workshop activities there are. The event area was already closed when I arrived. Obviously it’ll be something dinosaur related.
You’ll need to spend at least $80 at the mall to get an Adventure Pass. Each Adventure Pass admits one person aged four years old and above, or one accompanying adult with each child below 10 years old.
Dinosaur Adventures at United Square runs from 27 May to 8 June, and opens from 12 noon to 7pm on weekdays, and 11am to 7pm on weekends.
If your kids are fascinated by these dinosaurs, or at last not intimidated by them, Dinosaur Adventures may be a nice fun activity to to take them too. It’s the June holidays now, and I’m suppose many parents are trying to find activities to keep their kids occupied with.
