Baby’s Full Month

Today is baby’s full month. 4 weeks to be precise… so not technically 1 calendar month. We had a big celebration (big as in many people… not that it was super grand or lavish… haha) at the condo function room. Food was catered, decorations we did ourselves. We put together a party for a VIP, i.e. the baby, who doesn’t understand what that party is all about.

Baby was her usual good self. I think they probably don’t cry much yet at this time? Also, with so many things happening around her, I suppose she was just too occupied and busy trying to make sense of everything going on.

She was the centre of attention, of course. She was passed from one person to the next. In fact she was practically carried by one person or another the entire time… so much that the stroller we had brought down was, well, not used at all except as a trolley to help cart some of the stuffs back when it came to packing up time. When relatives or friends ask where’s the baby… “eh, hmm, hmm, well somewhere, there’s only one baby around, so I think you can just look around and find her” 🙂

This is probably the first time baby Vanessa has been in such a big crowd fussing over her. And despite of all the noise and commotion, she could still sleep peacefully.

  1. Aww, congrats. The first month is the best and the worst. It’s so cool to get to spend time with them while you are still on maternity leave. But at the same time, they don’t have a good sleeping schedule so you have to be up all hours of the night. One thing is for sure, I loved every minute of it. I sometimes wish my daughter was 1 month again. 🙂 Great article. I couldnt see the picture for some reason though. I would love to see baby Vanessa.
