The highlight on day three is about food. We headed over to Waikiki beach again, where they had this restaurant called The Cheesecake Factory. I thought it was a factory that made cheese or cheesecakes, where you could go to tour, sample their products, and maybe they had a little cafe somewhere you could sit down to have tea or coffee with some snacks. I was quite mistaken. I was wondering what the fuss was about having to go their on an empty stomach. It turns out it’s really a restaurant where, among other food, they serve a great variety of cheesecake.
I don’t know, but I thought Coffee Bean also had lots of cheesecakes. I guess this restaurant had lots more. Oddly enough, we didn’t actually get around to ordering their cheesecakes. When we got to desserts, we were all so full that the entire table just ordered a single brownie ice cream to share. The portion was huge, so it was enough to feed like 7 adults and 4 kids (okay, actually not everyone was at the table to sample it).
The mains and starters came in quite big portions too, and generally everything was pretyt delicious. I suppose that’s why it is a favourite, and the restaurant was packed with waiting times of like half hour or more for lunch.
Their portions are way way too big, in my opinion, and I was never impressed over their food. Their cheesecakes are very good, though.
