With so many crowd funded projects going awry these days, particularly a few big ones this year, one should always be delighted when something does deliver as promised. Here’s Kemer Belts. There was a hiccup just after the funding was completed, which fortunately got resolved, and the end-results have landed with backers, perhaps just only a little over a month late.
The basic idea of the Kemer Belt is to deliver a comfortable belt that transitions between work, play, and downtime. It’s reversible, so that you can wear two designs at once. Start with a serious, more sombre, design at work, then flip over for a more fun, energetic design after work.
This belt also addresses another issue: your waistline might also fluctuate during the day. Solution? Make the belt elastic. Elastic may work for some people. Personally, I don’t quite need elastic. Well, maybe if it has to be, just only a little bit elastic. I found the Kemer Belt more elastic than needed.
While the elasticity is nice, the belt can still be adjusted for size. It’s an easy adjustment catch. Flipping the belt to the other side, however, takes a little bit of effort though.
These belts look nice, with a variety of designs to choose from. They’re also quite minimalistic, in particular they lack the often clumsy buckle mechanism. It’ll be really nice to see more of these belts around.
